    Hm…not sure about this one. I think it might have worked better if it was Janet’s old stapler that she wanted replaced, or a new one she had requisitioned. In my experience, cats know all about their own stuff. Still worth it for the depiction of Janet-as-psycho in the last panel. (I know, I know, easy to be a critic, harder to be a creator…)

      maybe it’s poiting out the fact that cats don’t see under their nose 🙂 like when you point that piece of ham ten times before they find it and eat it

    “Cats can not see anything placed directly below their nose. Cat vision is sharpest when an object is between 2-3 feet (0.6-0.9 meters) from the cat’s face.” So Janet unknowingly moved the stapler to where Mr Cat was very unlikely to see it.
